MEET OUR ARIZONA ARTISTS!

Sharon-Artistic Manager
  • A performance major from Indiana University's School of Music, Sharon has performed with the Phoenix Symphony, Prescott Pops, West Valley Symphony and the Arizona Broadway Theater.

  • She traveled nationwide, playing 10 years of road shows with Perry Como, Natalie Cole, Henry Mancini, and Julie Andrews.

  • Her concerts include performances for CBS’s "Sunday Morning" and in such acclaimed places as Lincoln Center’s Avery Fisher Hall. 

  • Sharon founded The Classic Touch Strings and Orchestras in Ohio has expanded to Arizona.

  • Cathy has performed at Carnegie Hall and on multiple morning news programs. 

  • She has recorded for the show “Real Housewives of Latin America” and movie soundtracks for major motion pictures, at Sony Picture Studios, and a Netflix television series. 

  • Switching from classical, pop and rock genres, she is also the fiddle player in a local Irish band.

  •  She graduated with a BM in performance from the Hall-Musco Conservatory of Music, at Chapman University, in California.

  • Cathy also studied privately with the American String Quartet and now works locally with Verde Valley, NVSO and Prescott Pops as well as working for TAD Management and the Phoenix Theater Company.

  • Trista has recorded the solo string tracks for a nationwide Mercedes-Benz 2012 commercial.  It originally aired during the Academy Awards prime commercial spot.

  • Currently, Trista is the conductor of the West Valley Cadet Strings.

  • With a Bachelor of Music in music education (orchestra emphasis) as well as a Master of Arts in education, curriculum and instruction, she has held positions as Director of Orchestra and Choir at Tempe High School, Director of Strings at Rancho Santa Fe Elementary and Lanai Road Elementary in Encino, CA respectively.

  • Beth studied with The Chester String Quartet at Indiana University in South Bend. 

  • She has been a member of the South Bend Symphony, St. Joseph Michigan Symphony and Elkhart symphonies.

  • Currently she performs with North Valley Symphony Orchestra and Verde Valley Sinfonietta.

  • Chrystal studied violin performance at Ohio and Arizona State University.

  • As a founding member of the Tetra String Quartet, she performed hundreds of chamber music concerts in the United States, South America, and Europe.

  • Chrystal is also a passionate music educator, and has a deep love of teaching private lessons, coaching ensembles, and working with school orchestra programs..

  • Lauren has performed for over 30 years as a professional soloist, highlighted in orchestras and chamber music across the USA and Australia.  

  • ​She shared the stage with famous artists James Galway, Alexander Zonjic and composer Marty Haugan, a prolific writer of catholic music.

  • Multi-talented,  Lauren was a composer and recording artist for numerous studios, in the Detroit Metro area, prior to moving to Phoenix.

  • Founder and owner of Erickson Flute and Ensemble, she provided  musical entertainment for corporate and private events, across southeast Michigan.

Scotty-Guitar
  • Scotty is a vocalist, guitar player, and teacher with a long distinguished career. 

  • His repertoire has quite a range from ragtime and blues to Irish fiddle and jazz styles. 

  • Scotty's professionalism, versatility and ingenuity won him the 2017 Phoenix Mayor's Arts Award in the music category and has allowed him to headline and share local and national stages with a diverse collection of iconic performers including Big Pete Pearson, Dino Spells, John Hammond, Honey Boy Edwards, Buddy Guy, Alvin "Youngblood" Hart, Koko Taylor, Bobby Blue Band and many others. 

  • He has recorded two solo albums and is a member of the Big Pete Pearson's Blues Band and plays frequently with the True Flavor Blues Band. 

  • He and our violinist Cathy play  Irish fiddle concerts together!

MEET YOUR OHIO STRINGS!

  • Amy holds degrees from the Manhattan and Eastman Schools of Music. 

  • Ms. Amy studied chamber music with members of the American String Quartet and the Beaux Arts Trio, including a master class at Steinway Hall in New York City. 

  • She has served on the faculties of the Lucy Moses School for Music and Dance (NY, NY), the Daniel Hochstein Memorial Music School (Rochester, NY), the Brevard Music Center (Brevard, NC), and Central Christian High School (Kidron, OH). 

  • In addition to her membership with the Akron Symphony, she is the Assistant Concertmaster of the Shenandoah Valley Bach Festival Orchestra. 

  • Amy has appeared as soloist with the Tuscarawas Philharmonic, the Wooster Symphony, the Akron Lyric Opera Chamber Orchestra and the Shenandoah Valley Bach Festival Orchestra.

Mark-Violin
  • Mark serves on the faculty of the School of Music at the University of Akron, where he teaches music theory. 

  • His previous teaching positions include School of Music Faculty at DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana and Fine Arts Faculty at Malone College. 

  • Dr. "Mark" received his Ph.D. in Music Theory and Composition from Kent State University. 

  • While at Kent he studied violin with Si-Hon Ma (Cleveland Orchestra) and Marcia Ferritto (Cleveland Institute of Music). 

  • He has held section violin positions with the Mansfield Symphony and the Terre Haute Symphony in Indiana.

  • Marion graduated Magna Cum Laude from The University of North Texas. 

  • She began her symphony career, the following fall, in the cello section of the Jacksonville (Florida) Symphony, where she played for many years. She also played for numerous weddings, funerals and party functions including several at the prestigious Epping Forest where President Nixon met with foreign dignitaries.

  • She was a regular performer for functions at Jekyll Island, Georgia, as well as many churches and clubs in and around Jacksonville.
